In the past few months I’ve been working on three paintings that are meant to be viewed as a trio of sorts. That’s why I decided to wait before posting each of them.

They are painted on ArtRage on a single layer to maintain a traditional approach that I found immensely refreshing after so many years of Photoshop.

The first of the Queens is oils on rough paper, while the other two are oils on canvas. It explains the slight difference in texture.
You can see it more clearly on the close ups at the end of this post.
